About BEEZ<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n
<\/p>\n

Base for Enthusiasts of Environmental Science and Zoology (BEEZ)<\/strong> is a student-based society affiliated with the Department of Zoology and Environment Sciences, Faculty of Science, University of Colombo. BEEZ is comprised of students sharing a common interest in the fields associated with zoology and environmental science.<\/p>\n

Since the establishment, the goal of BEEZ has been to nurture the love for environmental science and zoology, not only among the students of the university, but also the general public, to create awareness regarding environmental issues, and to organize community projects as well.<\/p>\n

BEEZ held the first inaugural session to commemorate the \u201cWorld Environment Day<\/strong>\u201d on the 5th of June 2015, after its establishment in April, 2015. From that day onwards, BEEZ has completed many projects in striving to maintain a strong connection between society and nature.<\/p>\n

Here at BEEZ, we believe that the small steps we take towards loving and protecting nature will make a greater impact someday. Thus anyone with love and passion for nature is warmly welcomed to the BEEZ.<\/p>\n

Our vision is of a peaceful and environment friendly world, which lives in harmony with nature. We envision a society in which both young and old are inquistive and interested in broadening their knowledge in the fields of Zoology and Environment sciences, with the hopeful intention of promoting environment protection and wildlife conservation, to ensure a sustainable world. <\/p>\n
